A couple more...
me and my cousins in August 1978 outside the house we'd built the swimming pool in...see what I mean about the bloody perms!!!
Back from a night out in Spain with an early morning livener - August 1978..my favourite Ben Sherman
The morning of the August Bank Holiday, parking up the motors in Westcliff before walking down to Southend - we'd gone in a convoy of about 10-15 motors and had had a brief chat with some rockabillies at the Five Bells roundabout (on the A.13) on the way down..... from the left Bob 'Bovril' Baisden, Hodges, Kenny, me, Frank, in the background Grimsby with H in his Capri...
Lastly a party around Ken and Franks in Bow Common Lane...Bob Baisden, Brett (as in Congratulations...ICF), Jeff Turner and me, in the background Grant Fleming and John Bongie from Benfleet...

Yeah! - Tom you're lucky to have so many pics of you and your mates from that era! Obv I got a few from the late 70s but none that I would wanna post LOL
I took the liberty of copying the first pic you posted and darkened it....
Tried to remove the scratches but it made it too blurry. sorry.

I went to Teneriffe in 81 with my mates and there's a photo of me getting off the plane in an MA1 flight jacket in what must be a temperature of 100 degrees  .
A mod bloke I knew from the 60's showed me a piccy from 1965 in which half a dozen blokes are sitting around a Spanish swimming pool in shorts and T shirts and there right in the middle is a bloke suited and booted in a tonik mohair with a tie done right up!
My mate said he was a die hard mod and wouldn't even consider dressing down just cos of the heat.

The photo looks better darkened...to be honest didnt really keep that many photos of the time, wish I did though... in 78 to 82 my mate Bernie Hoolihan took loads of photos when we were out, hes got some great photos, of us at Margate, Brighton, Southend at Bank Holidays in 78/79/80, at gigs with the Jam at Saddleworth and Portsmouth, the Huddersfield gig, with the Rejects etc...some of them were used for the back of the Rejects first lp and in a number of books...hes got hundreds though
It was odd in Spain in 1978, every pub and bar was either normal or soulboys...fuckin Patrick Juvet with I love America or, god forbid, Saturday Night Fever!!! Wore my sta prest or 501s with Bens or Freds for the nights... or for the day levi cut downs (also for swimming) and adidas t-shirts (I was about to say 70s style but it was the 70s!)

Yeah a lot of b/w photos come out paler on the forums - anyway I thought it was better slightly darker...
You should try to get a bunch of the best off your mate!!!
