Re: dressing like those mods
I think if I remember correctly, your a lady, which means I'm afraid I'm of no use to you whatsoever. But I think the rules are, if its short its good and if its black and white and short its really good.

Re: dressing like those mods
Blimey!
Where to start!
It's hard to say because when i see something, i just know!
In a way, Del is right with his short is good. But it's gotta be teamed up with Go Go boots...This is the best site i've found for them.

Turtle neck jumpers, shift dresses, Mary Jane (Dolly) shoes with knee socks, ski pants, and mini skirts can always be readily found on Ebay.

There ya go!
One lovely, perfectly Mod outfit, all found in a matter of 5 minutes on Ebay. All you gotta do now is put your bids in. Do a search including any country, don't restrict it to your own.
Most charity/2nd hand shops do a fab range of 60's gear at ridiculously cheap prices.
Does that answer a few questions? Ask away if you have any more! Always happy to help.

Oh yeah...a lovely coat to round it off!

Re: dressing like those mods
that's lovely, thank you so much for helping me
ive been planning to go out and look for a pair of boots like that.
lately my only outfit vaguely similar to that has been:
a dress of my mother's from when she was the same age as me
tights exactly like that, only black
then either mary janes or green converse low-tops
and my zip-up hooded black coat that goes down to about my knees, but it doesnt really fit me that great yet so i havent worn it much (what should i do about that, take it to get altered to fit or something...),
-or my short dark green jacket that has band pins and patches and stuff all over it, then usually with those i wear this scarf i have that has this sort of neat-looking geometric red and white print on it
and then usually i wear eyeliner quite dark and pale lipgloss
usually though most of the time i wear black jeans though with a solid-colored shirt and a thick white leather belt, and at school i have a uniform... which leaves me 2 days a week to dress how i want to...
what about jewellry, also? i have all these awesome earrings (my friend always sees me at school wearing them and she goes "oh no not those mod earrings again!..." but these ones that sort of drop down and there blue and diamond-shaped and then i have these great rectangular bright red ones and these big octagonal white ones that drop down too and some more that i either got at thrift stores or they used to be my moms.... there all great
