yes, see you there. Oh dear, nearly haven't unpacked all my stuff from past weekend and I must pack again... argh!!
will you be in Utrech or Rotterdam? Saw Thierry last Thursday in London, he will come along too. Never been to Utrech but I'm afraid I won't see much though... not much time in every city.

Think I will attend both nights Eneida, but I'll introduce myself sharpish anyway. Will probably be early in Utrecht as I may accompany Ronald to the gig, so we can have a bit of a chat before the night starts....

Re: How the scene died & what evolved!
We started off as Modernists but the media shortened it to "Mods". I guess they thought it was more catchy. Isn't being a Modernist always moving forward? Otherwise you wouldn't be modern.

that makes sense...it's what Mod is all about...however, if we had kept up this "gotta keep moving" fashion thing, we would dress almost nothing like the original mods...who knows what we would look like?!?!?!
And this neatly reopens the age old debate as to whether Skinheads, Suedeheads, Casuals, Acid Jazzers and indeed the kids at the end of my street with their designer clothes, scooters and garage music are all Mods...
Mods Yes. Modernists No
