I think Charlie should have sacked his P.R man for falling into the usual trap of acting hard and talking daft when the press are about.
Bare in mind that this was within a couple of days of some Bank Holiday seaside resort trouble. This bloke was a gift to the press and didn't do a lot of real skins any favours.
Views anybody?
I wonder what happened to Charlie? He was fairly local to me I think - Poplar.

Remember going to a mod party in Kent once 1981, a few us us went in a car and they left first cause we were waiting for a few more of our firm to show up AMALGA. BRITTANNIA, FH CHAPS, half an hour later everyone was here about 30 to 40 on scooters we drove to the party and as we got close to where it was we saw a bloke running down the middle of the road with about 15 boneheads chasing him got abit closer and it was Phil from our firm the AMALGA the boneheads did a qick U-turn and we all chased them on our scooter's and bashed the Fcuk out of em, Phil told us around 30 skins gate crashed the party and bashed everyone and he and a couple of our firm put up a good fight but there where to many of em and they chased him and the others down the road he said it was heaven when he saw all the scooters headlights coming up the road, good old day's

Cheers for that Gary .........Yes mate the ol article didnt do him alot of favours did it ........but we all know what sells papers and unfortunately it aint about going to the locarno and doing windy miller to Liquidator or Come into my parlour
