I would have chosen Sharp Kid myself.
I also noticed from the track listing that My Friend Jack - The Smoke was missed off.

Re: Houswives' Choice
Yup JeanMarc and Stu, the other single I've got is Come The Day/Only Fools Die. It's on their own label Cherryoza (CYZ 001) and its from 1982.
JM the B-side to the Rivals was written on Setember 22nd 1979, the A-side however was written significantly earlier!!
Rachel, I'm going to have to get me bloody compy updated, it's too antwacky to be able to listen to the station. It's a blinding playlist too!!!!!!!

I agree with you there. I went to see them at The Astoria and they were being supported by Thurman and I must say it was a cracking night. Very speed induced. The music that isand me of course

Re: Houswives' Choice
Yup Jay - they were a blazing live act. If they speeding their socks off fer their art, it's wrong not to support em! They did a blinding version of I Cant Explain live too!! One of the best live bands I've ever seen. Prisoners and Solarflares take the honours, but erm, well, I sort of got blown away by erm, well Kulashaker the first time I saw em. Absolutely astounding.
I'll get me coat.
JM, now yer mention it, it rings a bell. Stu might know that one. Why am I thinking the Ovaltinees??
STU!!?

Re: Houswives' Choice
Surely not the legendary We Are The Ovaltinees record?
They were alleged to be someone having a laugh , give me a bit of time I'll remember who.

Re: Houswives' Choice
Yup Stu, the Ovaltinees record was someone arsing about and it's killing me who!? Fer some reason I'm connecting it with the Rivals in me head, but I'm almost certain it wasn't them. Not something yer likely to find by searching on the net either eh!?
