The Upper Fifth
Dear All,
just wanted to let you know that sadly, one of Brum's finest live Mod bands, The Upper Fifth, have decided to call it a day.
Syd, Mick, Toppo, Andy A and myself (Andy Scott) would like to thank all the fans, followers, promoters who have helped the band over the years. Its been a blast. Anyone who saw them live will admit they were a class act.
Highlights were 2 support gigs with From the Jam, a sell-out debut album, class performances at Small Faces tribute gig, airplay in USA and 2 back to back appearences at IPO Festival in Liverpool.
Mick and Toppo are now performing live with Brum covers band Tommy Gun, along with me in the background promoting and booking gigs.
Many thanks again to one and all.
Luv an Peace Andy Scott, Manager, The Upper Fifth.

Re: The Upper Fifth
Sad news, I only saw you once, at the Mods Mayday weekender in 2009 but it was a great gig and one of the highlights of the weekend.
All the best for the future.
