 I picked the Bournemouth patch up at this Rally .I think they were an offshoot of the Modropheniacs from what I can remember. Anyone able to verify that ?
Does anyone out there know what happened to the Lincoln Survivor's ? When we met them for the first time on the way to Scarborough Easter 1980, they had been going in existence as a club since 1966.
Nice bunch of gals and boys !

Nice one Stu ! I thought I was going mad for a while as even some of the Hastings boys can't remember them . They were a right nice bunch. I kept in touch with them for about 3 years and then didnt hear anymore until I saw a picture of Tommy Chetwood in The Scooterists a few years ago. He had alot less hair and less flares too 
I posted on another thread that we bumped into them in Little Holland at the ferry terminal to get accross the Humber for Scarborough Easter 1980. They lent us tents to sleep in as we had nothing but giant bin liners. It was f f f f freezing and they served us well.
We spent a weekend in Lincoln also and then they came down to us for Mayday 1980.
Weird but true !

I'm not sure they dated back to 66.
I have a vague memory they founded 77/78 but I also remember being young handsome and rich as a lad so who knows
But I had the same Tower Chrome backrest as your pacemaker (?)
Local Scooter shop sold me a Lambretta one and I was too niaive to take it back, just drilled an extra hole for the Vespa seat pillar.
Burned out my dad's Wolf electric drill doing so which didn't please him.

I recall being told that the Bournemouth Stylists were an all mod scooter club, I think old mates Mat Cannock and Steve bull were members mostly based in bournemouth itself, there were 3 main mod clubs in bournemouth area at the time , the Stylists, the Poole Panthers and the Modropheniacs although the Modropheniacs had more members based out west in Dorset at that time?

Cheers lobby, that's interesting to know. It's one of those things ...i picked up the patch and never really knew much of the guys thay I got it from.
I do remember bumping into some of them at my first ever run , which was May day Brighton 79', organised by the Roadrats I believe....bloody hell....30 years ago !!!
Where does the time go? with my hair I think !!!
