Re: Plymouth mod revival
Hi-i was secretary of the first couple of 1979/80 Plymouth scooter clubs. The first one was called 3.50x10 club but the name quickly changed to Plymouth Modern Coasters S.C. Then a few of us went on to form The Plymouth Breakaways S.C. I remember well the scooter club meetings in the prince regent on Sunday lunchtimes and the upstairs mod disco's above a place in Union Street that escapes me at the moment. They were great times. I also recall when a load of us went down to The Cornwall Colleseum in St Austell to watch The Jam live. There were loads of scooters parked up outside from all over Devon and Cornwall-Great days-Great memories. If you recall those days fell free to email me [email protected] or text me 07842 627878
