Just picked up on this thread...

Jeff is right, you will find an M51 in Mendoza but expect to pay around £250 for it and surplus condition.

Ebay US/Canada sound like the best bets...

Seems Joe has found one for 60 Euros in Dublin, that's nearer than the USA and no import tax...

Thank you all for your replys...

I just have a M-65, but I´ve always like the M-51 the most.

I don´t like to buying by internet ( there are many fakes too ), neither I want another old damaged parka. That´s why I was looking for a good and new repro of the M-51.

I will stay in London for two days in january. ¿ Any place to look for a good repro , please ?.

 Kind regards

Must say though I do prefer the old battered looking ones myself-if they look too new it reminds me of the fake milletss ones they tried to relaunch back in 1980s.The appeal to me was having an original army one complete with bullet holes and the odd army patch and that unique smell you get on them when they have been in storage for a while...maybe its just me! emoticon
