Control panel
Change user information
Give yourself a completely false profile.
Save settings.

That should override your account.

I'm not going to test the theory though.

Not true, Jeff. The trouble is, these forums can be easily manipulated, especially by people who are pretending to be something they're not. It's got beyond a joke. On that note, I'm going out with a song by arch mod and all-round dude, Kenny Rogers.

emoticon emoticon What a crackin' departing post!! I hope I come up with something as meaningful when my time comes... which incidentally might be sooner rather than later, but I am still in discussion with myself as to 'Shall I stay, Or shall I go' emoticon

Im definately heading that way myself. Its sad after all these years to feel this way as I was one of the first on this forum back in 2003 when it used to be a nice fun place to be.Nowadays the back biting is starting to get to me as some people have joined with less respect for other peoples feelings and dont seem to get where I am at.
Discussions seem to have been misinterpreted by some as personal attacks and others as Scene 64 mentions pretending to be what they are not.
Sense of humour seems to be somewhat remiss and replaced by something less tasteful.
Whatever.
Yeah maybe its time I was bailing out too.

Oh dear, this is all very bad news. I thought the worst period was about two years back but things had got better since then! I think it's all in your perception. If you're enjoying it it all seems great if not, then everyone/thing annoys you. Sure you get personal attacks, but these usually get rectified in the end don't they? Apparently I upset lots of folk, but I don't think I personally attack people, especially those I don't know. It shouldn't really be taken too seriously IMO, its only a forum after all... its too easy to get lost in internet world. The important thing is to keep the real world going.

Oh and I forgot to say I 'm sure I speak for most of the forum when I say that we'd miss you (all) if you do leave, so please don't unless it's unavoidable.

I have to agree with Tracey, the forum isn't what it used to be.
There isn't the craic/banter that there was a few years ago (even back in the pre-runboard days).
Unfortunately I'm not sure how the situation can be approved, we can't force back the posters who've moved elsewhere (or off the scene).
