Re: The Uptight , The Uptight and The Thinks
The Finest is a good name, but I'm now getting a list hundreds of names long. I'll just put the names to the rest of the lads, and we'll see what happens.
Many thanks for the help
Jonny

Re: The Uptight , The Uptight and The Thinks
Been lucky enough to hear the new tracks that the lads will be releasing as their new mini album. Listened to em a lot over the last few days, and they are pure class!! :verycool:
They're getting better each release, and if anyone else has heard em , you know thats going some!! Great tunes, and loads of power! Still storming garage mod, but shades of power pop in Collar and Cuffs too. The last track If Its All The Same To You is an absolute feckin epic. A horn section and girly backing vocals as well. If yer buy nowt else fer the next month, get hold of the Uptight's first 3 cd eps, and get yer name down fer the new 6 tracker when its mixed. There's only 3 or 4 bands in the country that are better than them at the moment I reckon.
Bik'd really dig em if they werent only on Satans steely disc!!!!!!

Re: The Uptight , The Uptight and The Thinks
Glad you like the new tunes Mark, my favourite is Pink African Violets, but the big one with the horns is a revelation to us. We sound like we can actually play our instruments, mighty indeed.
Anyway, we're still playing as Uptight, as yet, still no decision on a new name.
If anybody is from the West Yorkshire region, we're playing the Joseph's Well in Leeds this Friday (15th August) with the Jam Appreciation Movement. Should be a laugh. We're on stage about 8.30pm.
I'll try get some cd's sorted for folk who have suggested some names, but they'll have to wait until I get back from my hoildays.
Cheers
Jonny
