The Jam To Reform ?
Having a lazy day today just sitting reading the newspapers,One of them says PW and BF have spoken for the first time in twelve years and are going to reform The Jam.
Cant really see it myself but it would be nice if it happened.

Re: The Jam To Reform ?
Maybe you could have given us a hint as to what paper it was in?

Re: The Jam To Reform ?
Why not? Every other band out there is reforming. I think it would be now or never when renewed interest in the group is coming towards it's peak.
I'm sure Bruce Foxton and Rick Buckler can forgive Paul Weller and his ego when a fat paycheck can be involved.

Re: The Jam To Reform ?
It was in The News Of The World if you can believe anything in that.Did Weller not say the Jam were reforming a few years back ? Just to wind up the media.

I saw it in there, too. I'll believe it when I see it. I noticed Rick's name wasn't mentioned, which could mean something or nothing. But i'm taking this with a pinch of salt

Re: The Jam To Reform ?
It's probably a load of crap. But, if it did happen for a couple of gigs it would be excellent! I never got to see them when I was a nipper...

Re: The Jam To Reform ?
Never saw the article me self, but we did speak to Rick at the weller weekend a few years back and he said he wasn't interested in playing, BUT that was 2 years ago and the lure of filthy lucre is a strong incentive for some, let's face it he didn't come out of it the better of the trio, a spell managing the hi-lighners ( one hit wonders wiv henry the wasp ) and since then french polishing,( furniture, not our cousins across the channel, although i know a few of them are quite dusty and could probably do with a quick spruce up with the old feather duster, sacre blue!!!! )i know i'd be one of the first in line to buy a ticket if it does turn out to be true.
This may be the place to start a fantasy gig line up, if and it's a big IF everyone could leave there ego's and past differences at the door, the line up can include artistes no longer with us, and bands no longer together, only limit is keep it to 3 acts, you want a blinding gig but don't want to be there all night, the order they appear doesn't mean thats the order they play, i personally won't put that, that's down to you, so with that in mind here is my 3
The Who.
Small Faces.
The Jam.
I'll stick this one over in a proper catergory as well.

Weller won't do it. Agree with Mystery about this, but it would be nice.
Rick, i think has a heart condition - so i can't see him doing it.
