Dodgy MOD fashions

What do you consider to be dodgy mod fashions? This is just for fun emoticon
Hopefully, no one is going to say that all mod fashions are cool as there have been , IMO, a few faux-pas. (Police issue rain-capes anyone?).
My personal pet-hate is 'double-breasted suits'. I have yet to see anyone (with the possible exception of a very young Rod Stewart) look cool in these. Folk wearing these suits look like merchant bankers to me.

I don't like double breasted suits either. I know that some mods get some made and spend a lot of time and effort creating the perfect one, but I just don't get it

What about the black and white checked Cavern jackets with hoods that were quite popular with some of the mod girls in the mid 80's? That's got to be a dodgy one?!

eeeeewwwwww - yep those hoodys with a check stripe through the middle or sometimes an op-art b&w check - how foul - I thought they were a style council inspired thing, weren't they? still 'tres merde'.

Badger Jam shoes, Boxing boots and cycling tops...

I don't have one but I don't think double breasted suits look too bad. They look hard to dance in though....

I love double breasted suits. Going to get another one made next time I'm in Dublin. 4 button, side vents, small collar, covered buttons, ticket pocket. Class.

Mystery, you may be pleased to know then that Ben Sherman are currently stocking old style woolen cycling shirts, as part of their born in 63 anniversary thing. You'll probably be as equally peeved as i was however to find they have deciced to splatter their name across the front in six inch letters. Fools. I think that cyclies look good under a parka or preferred scooter attire.

Oh they also did some nice shirts ala 63. Sadly all gone.

Yeah, I've seen them mate. If it wasn't for the bloody logo everywhere I'd have bought a couple of those...
