Re: New or old?

dont fake a px to look like a gs, not bin on the seen for a while but im sure people would still take the piss big style.
maybe try an find an old frame cheap that needs work , then stick a pe,px or t5 lump in 4 reliability & cheapness.
style & speed cant be bad.

Re: New or old?

I think it's a bit sad trying to make a new scooter look old. Wake up, smell the coffee it's 2003! If you have to get a scooter get a GT or a new PX.... I definitely wouldnt ride an old piece of junk. I did that in the 80's until I eventually woke up... If I could afford it I would defintely by a GT. I think they are fantastic and I don't care what you say.

Hey maybe I should sell my 2002 model car with CD, Sat Nav, Alloy wheels and air conditioning and buy some old piece of sixties crap?...... Never.

Things may be different if he had passed the bike test (before it got stupid)& was sitting with a licence that had bike entitlement on it.
I sold my last scooter 13 years ago (a Lambretta TV175 series III with a SX200 engine)after passing my Car test now I own a Car & a Scooter, the best of both worlds.
In case anyone didn't know the scoot I now own is a 1969/70 Lambretta GP200.
