Looking for ideas for a Mod Weekend in Jersey
I am researching the idea of co-ordinating a mods weekend in Jersey which will take place at our hotel.
The event will also include an around the island (48 mile) scooter rally that will hopefully bring something a bit different to other UK events.
Does anyone have any ideas of things we can do to attract a UK crowd and if there is something you would expect from an event like this?
Any ideas would be welcomed.

You'll probably get more feedback from one of the mod pages on facebook, it's mainly just tumbleweed blowing through this site these days 
Some former regulars on here promoted a couple of very successful weekenders in Birmingham a couple of years ago. It was the top notch line up of bands which attracted me there, others are more interested in DJ centred events.
There is no shortage of really good bands on the scene now both younger bands and reformed groups from the '79/80s scene. Similiarly DJs aren't exactly thin on the ground either.
It depends which way you want to go with it and what your own preferences are.
